At Core 'n More, we not only sell new kitesurfing gear but also lightly used kites, bars, and boards. We have multiple models in stock throughout the year for every budget. That’s a relief.

Quality of Second-hand Gear

Many people worry about something breaking when buying second-hand gear. Rest assured, we thoroughly check all kites before they leave our shop, so you can safely head back out on the water. Good to know: a second-hand kite often lasts for many more years. So, you can definitely buy a great used one. We aim to provide honest advice and would never send a beginner out on the water with a pro-level kite.

The points we check for kites:

• Fabric quality
• Stitching
• Tears or pinholes
• Bladders checked for holes
• One-pump hoses are checked for leaks
• Pigtails, bridles, and any pulleys

The points we check for boards:

• Damage
• Threading of the inserts
• Overall condition

The points we check for bars:

• The safety system functionality
• The swivel (if present)
• The depower system
• The quality of the lines
• We always check line lengths! (Many people don’t know this, but it has a big impact on the riding characteristics)
